This is my 75 Fj40 Cruiser, I bought it about a month ago and what a night mare. The prior person did a spring over lift, and botched it, when you measured from front to back on both sides there was a 3 inch differance, the good he didnt cut of the origanl mounts , so I was able to lower it with minimal effort, since I got it Ive added the full cage roll bar, new back seat, fixed the turn signals, replaced a head light, installed a cd player and speakers, rhino lined the whole inside , to my surprise there is NO rust any where on this fj. I just did a full tune up cap , rottor, wires, plugs. also adding a new shifter , the one in it wont allow me to go into 1st or 2nd only drive , and with a 3 speed it shift into 3rd by the time I hit 35 mph, so I want more control. Im getting ready for paint in the next few months, it had 2 new tires , getting 2 new ones here in the next few days, only thing Im in need of is the running board on the passanger side and the door handle that was broke , oh and both defroser hoses that come off the heater , when its cold I have no defrost . thank gawd its getting warmer out. any one having ? or comments feel free to email me , this fj is up for sale but every day that goes by and the more I fix the higher the price contact ,,,, wabluepits@msn.com

1966 fj45 lwb. It has chevy 350, 33" tires. stock 3 sp tranny and running gear.

I bought this fj from a family man that had done quite a bit of engine and exhaust work. the interior has been fiberglassed and has and seats and roll cage have been modified and upgraded.MY plan is to continue were he left off. So far I have given her new blood. Diff ,trans,transfer case and engine oil were all drained and refilled. I have to say that what came out of the donkey was not pretty. Years of bad oil came free . Now the drivetrain noise is gone and any vibration from trans has stopped. I am running Lucas oil treatment in crank case oil and it seems to like that to.
